May be time to stop passing around the same old tired coaches in the area.

Red Bank would be a sweet job.  With all the new construction, lots of athletes, and the yuppies in North Chattanooga adopting RB for "their" high school.  Red Bank will be restored to the glory days within 5 years.

 

 

Down side is that it is under the Hamilton County Department of Education.

Totally agree with you. Hopefully they can get someone who can come in who has the mentality to coach a scheme geared to the players he has and not "live or die" with sticking to his plan.

Just saying that whoever gets this job will not be inheriting a ton of athletes in the skill positions. They will have to be able to evaluate players ability well, and coach to that.

The only way for Red Bank to become a power again is to close Signal Mountain.

Red Bank is becoming a dumpster fire. All the talent goes up the mountain to Signal. Looks like he is doing what's best for himself. Red Bank however can do better and will but it won't be anytime soon. Signal and Baylor has that area on lock. I'm just keeping it real

We have kids from all over coming to Sissy Mountain, and I think they are all legit, but I don't think there are many from the Red Bank school zone.

 

Red Bank has a lot of good athletes attending the school, but they lack any sense of community or school pride.  There are a lot of young families moving back into Red Bank and North Chattanooga.  I hope they can rebuild the community and school pride.  It will also take the right kind of coach to rebuild the program.  It is happening at Hixson, and I think it will happen at Red Bank.

It would help a new coach if half a dozen would come in at once from Tyner.
