When do nominations for Miss Basketball begin and end? AND.... What is the process for nominating a player for the honor?

Members of the media and coaches will nominate the respective candidates near the end of the season. A 'select' panel will then vote on all candidates. Good luck to all!

If this is the case, then there are some very deserving young ladies that are being overlooked. Keiana Gilbert should be at the top of every list right now. She's averaging a double-double with 27 ppg and 11 rpg and has played the toughest competition the state has to offer with the likes of Riverdale, Blackman, Mt Juliet, and Knoxville Webb on the schedule.
