Man don't give me that rules and guidelines stuff when yes they are in place, but people are working the system to make it appear that a rule or guideline is being followed.  Again, how are is it poaching off other schools if the player is riding the bench.  Another thing, it's not free to attend, so even if the coach did ask a player to come, the parent would have to see the benefit in paying to go to school.  But I'm done, you do what you feel is best and I'll do the same.

Want the milk, tend the cow. If they (you) are ambiguous to the rules, that's OK by everyone, just don't gripe if no school will place themselves in a position that they don't want to be in by playing you. If you're cool with the way things currently stand just watch the tournament and tell everyone that Lancaster is better than the winner, I'm sure that they won't even notice!

Trader, you can read every post ive made and you will not see anywhere that i said lca is better than any other team! So you need to take that somewhere else! The only thing ive said is if a kid is buried on the bench and the parents feel they want to make a move, thats on them.

One of the hottest little teams in the state heads to Memphis to compete with two top tier teams. Finding it difficult to play quality Middle TN schools this program travels a lot of miles to allow their top athletes to compete at the higher level! Currently ranked 14th in the state and climbing, the starters on this team feel they can challenge any of the top ranked Mid Tn schools if ever given the opportunity. Good luck in Memphis Lady Knights !!!!

This comment tells me you think they are better than other teams.  That website, just like CoachT, does not have scores from all teams in TN.

MHEA & FCA which I am told has several D1 prospects on both teams. I know that Lancaster has 7 D1 prospects as juniors now and one senior that has signed already. Both games will be fast play and Lancaster allows a lot of bench time as well. Sometimes it lowers the starting 5's stats but they are pretty deep on the bench. This coach is dedicated to seeking top tier teams to challenge his junior class at a higher level.

7 D1 prospects and they were sitting on the bench at other schools.  I guess your coach is the best in the State if he can take bench warmers and turn them into D1 prospects.

Congratulations to LCA on their Memphis visit

Doug, I never said we were better than other teams, maybe someone else did.  The other thing, is not sure how many D1 prospects, but that shows you how deep Rutherford county is, if you have girls sitting on bench at the larger schools, but can go here and be noticed.  That shouldn't be looked upon in a negative way.  That's just girls taking advantage of an opportunity.

Mboro doesn't seem to be the cause of the fussing, I think one of the others basically was calling out teams for not wanting to play them.

Indian, thanks so much! I truly appreciate it! I'm just a parent that did what I felt was best for my daughter. I've never said how great they are or any of that non sense.  She wanted to play, but didn't get the opportunity so we chose to make a move.  I'm still cool with her former coach, matter of fact talked to him over email today.  He's happy for her, so that's all. Again, thanks for the support!

    • Congratulations to Huntingdon and Station Camp. Lots of good softball in Tennessee. Alcoa been media favorite last two seasons.
    • Im more of a Basketball follower than football and like I said we play what we have, there is no going and recruiting or even talking kids into transferring…..and to rebut about Memphis teams in finals I’ve watched Memphis East and Penny Hardaway with the enrollment of a single A team play up and dominate any and all challengers for years! They aren’t the only ones either Mike Miller and son at Germantown put together that super team a couple years ago that ran through the rest of the state! Other teams from Memphis or Chatt or Nash or any large populated area pop up and are relevant out of nowhere every year because they get an influx of talent be it from a new coach or AAU affiliations it happens in football also just like any other sport! I hope these two schools that close join together and get to play the team you support, then you may see it differently! I find it funny some of you think recruiting and resources don’t matter . The county schools get very little funding also but you don’t want to get me started on that part!
    • In a total classless move, Coach Simmons once again shows his true colors. Waits till the day after school is out to let everyone know he is leaving. Fails up to a community college job after a lackluster 2 year span at GH. And do not tell me about the state run that saved a sub .500 season and plenty of whippings by Cookeville and Lebanon.  Looks like the girls job at GH is cursed. Terrible MS program/coaches feeding what is turning out to be a joke of a HS team.
