TigerPride23
DeKalb beat York 1-0 and beat York 10-0. We play Wilson Central, White House, Hendersonville, and Lebanon in the next four games. This stretch will be interesting. BigDPride
York showed a lot of improvement in the 2nd game. They found a way to rebound and pull it together. #5 pitched a heck of a game and his defense played their hearts out. First game, well, I'm not sure what happened, but they appeared to play intimidated and their youth showed. Congrats to DC on the wins, good ball club! Would like to see the DC/MCM matchup. TigerPride23
Pitching for DC in the York games last night: Page: 5 innings, 69 pitches, 6 strike outs. Summers: 7 innings, 98 pitches, 13 strikeouts, 3 hits allowed, two pick offs. Summers had a great game. Also, I'm impressed with Jennings. He has came in and contributed as a freshman as football qb, basketball, and baseball. He had a solo homerun to win the second game last night. Kids ceiling is going to be great. williamz71
To many mental mistakes in the first game for York against DC. The kid playing 3rd base was somewhere else and couldn't make a play and the mistakes worked the pitcher and DC had some very live bats the 1st game. Congrats to DC they played great and deserved the wins. Hopefully York will do better in the games to come. They have Clinton Ky Crossville and LA coming up. baseball2020
York is not a young team. What 2 seniors . bunch juniors an few sophomores. Should be swinging bats nicely. Maybe its time give a newby a swing. Couldn't hurt.
