Tough loss for LA. Tied 2 up into the 9th and then errors abounded. Lost 9 to 2 to Upperman

Dekalb beats Central Magnet 11-0 on a one hitter! Team hitting starting to come together better recently.

Looks like a completely different team. Much closer to where I thought we would be. DC looks like the clear cut best team in district.

Went 5-1 in the Plateau Invitational today. Lost to Cumberland Co, who we had shut out earlier in the day, in the championship.

 

Caplinger was just exhausted after game 5 and freshman Redmon pitched the championship. Good learning experience for her.

DC is far and away the best team in the district. Where you boys been at on the football threads.....its lonley without the DC folks opinions!

Not been on the T much at all, actually. Just post every now and then on this topic. Football this year is a big question mark to me. Lost a lot, bring back some good players. How will the youngsters step up?

Doesn't look like it. I didn't realize this until I looked over the schedule as a whole. We have been having a lot of shutouts or 1 run allowed games.

That first tournament had me a little scared, but turns out the few teams we have lost to were solid. We don't even look like the same team anymore, IMO.

UH has won 5 in a row but I don't see them challeging DC. I don't see anyone else being close.

LA was up until the errors started cropping up. If we run into them and they stay settled, we could have a game. Also the home game against Cannon was closer than the score indicated.

LA over Smith 12 to 3. I wish these girls could put a complete game together and I think we could go somewhere in the district tourney.
