Hamilton played in the Arby's Classic with us. We both played Greater Atlanta Christian (who is still undefeated BTW and have won 50+ games in a row.) They (Hamilton) gave GAC all they wanted and more. We (OR) did too, though. GAC is the #1 rated team in Georgia, still.

Yes they are awesome. Dominique Wilkins son is on their team and he is GREAT.

I've seen Blackman and Siegel play multiple times this year. Neither team has much height. But both teams play outstanding defense. In the games I watched Blackman's defense was in the half court. Siegel presses the entire game. Both teams are very athletic and have multiple ball handlers.

 

I think much of Siegel's success at state or lack thereof will be how aggressive the refs let them play in their press. Against a less athletic team in Walker Valley, Siegel was called for a tremendous amount of fouls.

 

I agree with the earlier statement about White Station's loss makes this tournament wide open.

 

Siegel has beaten three other qualifiers (Blackman, Jeff Co., and Wilson Central)

Brentwood has beaten Blackman and Oak Ridge has defeated Jeff Co. And Blackman defeated Siegel once.

Any team that counts on a press to win can probably be counted out. (Wilson Central, Dyer County) I like Brentwoods chances. They have to be favorite. If Hamilton can beat Dyer County I like Hamilton as the second best team followed by Arlington then Siegel.

From what I've seen, I'd go with Hamilton as the favorite and Oak Ridge as a close 2nd. Brentwood is always tough due to their coach and system they play.

 

Would like to see what Arlington has, must be good enough since they beat White Station. Saw them last year in Dyersburg, believe they lost to JSS.

Arlington is not your typical Memphis team. They won't woo you with overly athletic players. They play a nice balanced team game and shoot the corner 3 real well. CJ Anderson, 6'5 pg is legit though.
