Varo
You are right. I saw White House play this weekend and while they are still strong in the back they are having trouble scoring, surprised me a little. They have lost 3 big scoring threats in addition to the seniors they lost from last year. I still think they will be the team to beat but they definitely have some holes to fill. " In addition to the seniors. . . " Did they lose players to transferring out? Quitting the team? Discipline? What's the scoop?
Catfish03
Lost one to a broken leg, he is heading to Transylvania to play next year. Not sure about the other two, just know they are not playing. One was the leading scorer last year.
Cleggy
Lost one to a broken leg, he is heading to Transylvania to play next year. Not sure about the other two, just know they are not playing. One was the leading scorer last year. I heard he has decided to participate in an academy instead of playing school ball. Major loss for the Devils for sure. Another was lost to Heaven. Blue Devils are always good and should improve and be there come tournament time. The school is fortunate to have such a dedicated coach, not to mention his coaching duties in wrestling and football. Wish White House and Heritage could have scheduled a regular season match. I'm sorry to hear about that. It's always sad when kids die with so much life left to live.
CubsFan23
Well, the Cubs, as usual, aren't that great. But I heard that Harpeth has a pretty good junior forward, and they've looked decent so far.
Varo
What's up with the Sumner County school's websites, Athletics pages, Soccer, not being updated or even active? Lack of technology? No one cares? Makes it hard to look at schedules or rosters when there is no information provided.

Many of them don't keep up websites with this information, so finding schedules and what-not is a real pain.
Varo
Would be shocked if White House doesn't roll thru that side of District. After playing White House on Friday, I will agree that they have a very strong team. Don't know what scoring problems they've had, but they rolled over us. Down 0-2 at the half, it didn't take them long to put two more on the board halfway through the second period. Their back line was BIG and composed, we couldn't generate anything past them. They'll definitely be a team to go far in the tournament. Hope we get to see them again.
BarcaFan
I agree White House will be very strong but they are nowhere close to last years team offensively. Unfortunately for them they had 3 big player losses which include the top returning scorer who is now playing year around travel soccer instead of playing for the high school. Defensively they will still be strong and steady so it will take a different style of play from what they were able to offer last year. I saw White House Heritage play in the Gallatin tournament and they looked very good. Although I am not sure if they won any games they were fast and solid from top to bottom. They could certainly give White House a run for their money. I haven't seen MTCS but I do expect a good result from them as well. I don't expect White House to run the table unless they can find more ways to score.
CubsFan23
Cheatham plays at Harpeth tonight. I'm hoping for a good game, but it will likely be a blowout.
Varo
Cheatham plays at Harpeth tonight. I'm hoping for a good game, but it will likely be a blowout. What's up with Cheatham's soccer schedule? The school website doesn't even mention they have a team, and any other high school sports websites, including this one, only have them playing about nine to ten games out of the allowed 16.
