NG is pretty much a lock to win the district, and Unaka and SG seem to be the two hottest teams out of the rest right now. Its a shame they are having it at a crummy middle school field. I'm sure that was UH's doing too.

Heck of a player and I hope he and the other Carter County boys carry the torch well,Sure glad ETSU started football again.It could give alot of local kids a chance to play at the next level.

i know this is a baseball thread but just want to say that the Haynes kid from Cloudland will be signing with etsu on wed.hopefully all the local kids get a chance to see some playing time,and not just tackling dummies

I just heard today that the Saturday district tournament games are at Cardinal Park instead of Indian Trail Intermediate School.  Just wanted to pass that along.  I don't know about the rest of the schedule though.

  A big congreats to Courtney also, I hope Courtnet Clark gets a chance also, although I,m not sure what she wants to do. Both kids were great players and fine girls. They'll both be missed in a big way.

NG and Unaka in the winners bracket, Cloudland and SG get sent home, and UH and Hampton play in an elimination game Monday, the 3rd match up between the two in 10 days.
