AlcoaBasketball
Alcoa Lady T's are coming off back-to-back games against Webb, and we competed with them both times. But in the end, Webb was just too much, returning virtually everyone from last year's state championship team. Next up is G-P on Saturday. AlcoaBasketball
Lady T's got a big win tonight over G-P, and we might see them again in regionals.

Alcoa played good and was well coached tonight. Not sure how GP managed to throw that one away like they do most close games after coming out so lackluster and then commanding the game early in the 3rd. Noticed a couple of GP starters missing? Sick? Hurt? They'll need them back soon if they're going to be successful.

yesitsme
Alcoa is also missing senior starter Hannah Tate, she's battling cancer at St. Jude so please keep her in your prayers and her teammate has they're feeling lost without her. The emotions have definitely shown at times, but if I know this team, they'll get better from here and rally around each other. Hannah Tate has been a big part of our team the past couple years. From what I understand, the GP girls gave Hannah a card and large sum of money on Saturday, very nice gesture from Coach Parton and her program. Kudos. Kudos. They're a classy program. Reminds me of last year when they visited the Knox Catholic girls in the hospital then wore green socks in their support during the region tournament. AlcoaBasketball
Alcoa Lady T's fought hard but lost to a solid Bearden team tonight 68-56. Next up, district opener at Kingston on Thursday night. Go Alcoa, Amen!
QSouth89
Don't know what to think about the district. Maybe the girls are just playing tough non district competition
