Dominated, look even worse than two years ago, & have no idea how the one kid is committed to UT?

This Beech team is pretty good. Defense played well and after the first series the offense looked well oiled.

I believe Beech makes a run. Gallatin will be 4th or 5th in the region at best.

I will take 4th or 5th right now. Gallatin was really lucky last year in reguards to injuries but they are making up for it this year. 2 runningbacks go down and so does the QB. Both of those runningbacks also play defense. It just does not look good. Tackling is horrific, blocking is not good at times, and just when the young sophomore QB starts throwing well he goes down. Only hope is the schedule is front loaded with strong teams and the younger players will get better.

Worst defeat at the hands of Beech in the history of the series.

Nice effort by the Bucs. Good to see them finally mix in a pass or two. D is getting better, need to continue to improve as the schedule gets tougher. O line was dominant all night. Hate to see the injury bug hit Gallatin so hard. Tough one next week against Indy. Should be a good test.

Starting QB and runningback were out then losing the other 3 during the game...yeah it hurts. Next week Gallatin could be starting the 3rd string QB and number 4 on the depth chart runningback. With all the sophomores playing it makes it tough. The Hendersonville/Beech matchup will be a great game to watch. No offense to Mt Juliet but those are my top two picks.

    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
