How many teams from Chatty make it to State this year?  I say 3 for sure, maybe 4.  The top 3 of the list should get through, the question is will 4 - 6, get through???  ND with Higgins back in stride should be peaking at the right time.

1) McMinn Co. - still deserving of the #1; but appear to be gassed a little 

 

2) that all girls school - now Booger think #1 takes them by 2 in a match

 

3) The Lady Fighting Irish of ND    - starting to find the post season spark: have swept the regular season district race and starting to test those late season adjustments

 

4) Walker Valley - Got smoked by McMinn; who is for real

 

5) CCS - moving up; proven to be the CCS of old; with youth

 

6) East Hamilton - don't know, they are for sure not consistent

 

7) North Red Bank Mountain Eagles - I don't know

 

8) Baylor - will Boogerette get her first win on them Tuesday

 

9) Soddy Daisy - Not toooooo good

 

10) Sequatchie Co. - lost there 7th ranking to that Red Bank Mountain group

 

.....Boyd and Grace not in Booger's 10....not with those weak weak schedules.......Boyd gets knocked down to earth when they play EH Tuesday and if Grace can beat CCS on Tuesday, Booger gives them the 10th

How you say McMinn County is "gassed"? We beat Warren County last night 4-0 without 4 starters not playing in the second half.

2 A/AA teams should make state. My guess is Notre Dame and North Red Bank will advance. GPS should advance to their state tournament. I don't know enough about the teams that McMinn County and East Hamilton will face in their region and sectional games to hazard a guess if they will advance to state. I really like watching McMinn County play so I hope to see them there.

Booger you must be one of those YMCA legends.....the older you get the better you were. Let me guess you played on a state championship team so that makes you an authority in all sports?

My point in the previous post is how do you say McMinn is "gassed" when in fact we are hitting the gas. They arguably have the best GK in this area, one of the best freshman forwards, very good in the middle and the best back line that I have seen all year. Goals per game have increased and goals allowed has decreased....darn good combo! But hey you cant argue with a man who buys ink by the gallon and win.

LoL. Post season is where it really matters. Everything we have or are doing is erased. Its anyone's game on any given day depending on what team shows up. I am tired of watching 1st half scrambles for goals because everyone knows by half time they are getting pulled off the field. Bring on the post season and let's see what the Cherokees have for real. State bound.? Maybe if we win the first game, then the second game.....
