Not sure Seq is as strong as everyone thought they would be. Good size and good numbers. Opposite end of the spectrum for SP. If MC is healthy against Seq they should beat them by 3 or 4 TDs. As for SP it would be ugly. Inside info tells me Ross will not take his foot off the gas. Hide your kids.

Old Pirate says Jasper better beat all them small schools as bad as they can this year cause Jasper will not get another chance for a spell with a schedule full of 1a teams. Enjoy the ride, thou short. If Zeman stays healthy it will be a miracle.

Play the same teams as always. We can't help that they aren't that good. We are supposedly dropping Central and picking up Hixson again and possibly Brainerd. Zeman is hardly ever 100% healthy but even at 70% he is the best back around here.

Zemen is good even if he is 50%. I don't know why Marion would want to play Brainerd though. They wouldn't bring anyone to the game. The talk about SP being down is true. It happens in small town football. SP has some good groups down the pipeline, but it will be awhile. Like I said Marion has a rock star coach now. Next year Trousdale will be back in 1A so the odds of good playoff runs are now in your favor.

Actually Brainerd has a good coach and is an up and coming team.  they play everyone tough for a while they just don't have the numbers to finish a game.

We will schedule teams like Brainerd only for a speed reference for the playoffs. Never said they were good. We are playing for the playoffs not for 10-0 records. The tssaa will be changing the regions in a couple years anyway.

Then why did MC Jasper drop them?  However, you need to worry about Central Pounders for now.  Them messed up your perfect regular season last year.
