I thought they would ...you guys could have come out of here wirh a win. Very evenly matched teams. You guys have out secondary all they could handle. Will be interestkmg to see the stats to see how close I came to the 1000 yards I projected .

Yes. I just caught that. C'mon, BA. No need for that.

Congratulations to your team, baylorbigdog. I'm just glad my Toppers came in and played like I knew they were capable of.

BA usually throws a lot more than they did tonight. I was impressed with SH. Ba is lucky to get out of that game with a W. Could have easily been the other way. Fun to watch

Pick in the endzone hurt. TD end of first half hurt. SHHS stood toe to toe with bigger BA team. With that line was does BA throw it?

You never want to lose but this is a game the Toppers can build on.

Crazy good is an understatement. Best player I have watched this year

Wow. I'm sure he would appreciate that.

Best of luck to you guys going forward. You really do have a great team. And you weren't lying, your OL/DL are HUGE. We won't see another one of their size and strength in the regular season (maybe even beyond that) that's for sure.

Went to the game and here is my thoughts:

-Our D and O line were outsized tremendously, not even close. Because of that reason, they ran the ball at will against us.

-science hill has improved tremendously on getting downfield. We might be 42 points better than last year, IMO.

-I'm not too worried about our O, just gotta fill those gaps on D. And did anyone notice how incredibly small out linebackers are? I felt like I was looking at little kids. Just imagine if we could have guys like Janeway, Isbell, and Nagba still.

-Their lines were HUGE. Luckily, we won't play anyone close to that big again. At least not in the regular season.

-Our offense is playing out of their minds this year. And yes, this Topper team is definitely better than last year's team imo.

-Our linebackers are young, are they not? I mean isn't Tolley just a sophomore? The reason I think they looked small tonight is because BA as a team is very big. Against competition around here they look like everybody else.

Your o line looked big to me. I thought you guys went toe to toe with BA. Our defense certainly didn't shut you guys down at all. Not sure which team had more yards but I imagine it was close. I would rank SH right up there offensively with anyone we have played this year and higher than everyone except perhaps MBA and they are no better . We had a similar game with mba but had a few turnovers that cost us... We could have won that game just like you guys could have won this one...I think SH could compete with all the teams in d2 if they play like they did tonight.

    • Hmmmmmm doe dee doe doe……sounds like they are leaving Geenback faster than the lawnmower will go in fifth gear.  Hmmmm….. you can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • West looked solid...excited to see this young group excel
    • When you have a school that right at 200 kids only half are going to be male and to get 25% of them to come out for football is a very hard task. Take away an 8th grade syatem and your you have another hill to climb up. If 5 kids are actually leaving your not going to have enough for practice. Your only chances for wins would be against the weakest of weak teams. At one time Greenback had kids coming across the wall like the Mexican Border and now their leaving town before sundown. A hugh mistake was made on not hiring Ryan back because of his ties to the community and his ability to bring in the right kids, not run them off. The last coach failed because he wasn't one of community so they go out and do it again. I'm sure Coach Clemmer is a good person because I do know people that do like him but he is caught in the middle of a fan base that will not support him no matter what and it could lead to a disaster if that many kids are leaving the program. The person that caused all of this mess has no business on the school board and needs to stick with hiding in the bushes giving out speeding tickets to out of towners coming through.
    • My outsider looking in perspective is Oliver Springs, Coalfield, Rockwood, and Harriman: fill out the top 4 good teams that beat up on the bottom and will all be in a good place to win in the 1st round with one team maybe making it farther. Midway: funnily enough in the middle an alright team that can beat the teams below them but not the top 4 misses the playoffs but still has a decent record. Oakdale, Greenback, Sunbright: round out the bottom each team has its problems and with a rough region and challenging non-conference records may not be pretty. Oakdale graduated lots of talent and experience, Greenback is in all sorts of internal turmoil with their new coach, and Sunbright small roster tough region not tons of Fb played. (Teams could be rearranged with other teams in their groups but this is how I see them finishing)
    • Kids quitting to focus on one sport could be a worry but multi-sport athletes transferring out would damage more than just football so I think the people who made this decision could find out they are going to get burned in multiple ways.
