Getting closer to game time tonight for what is probably the biggest game for the Waverly football program in over 20 years. It's not a game that is going to make or break the season by any means as there is still a lot of football to be played. But it's a game that has this community as fired up as I can remember. It's great the way our community has come together to support a great group of young men & coaches who go out and give it their all every day in practice and on Friday nights. It's also nice to have the "rivalry game" meaning something again. Camden is a good program with a lot of recent success and no doubt this will be a tough game, but I really feel our boys are ready for this moment to step up and shine. The leaders on this team are used to winning last week's loss hurt them personally quite a bit. I look for them to bounce back tonight and get a win (prediction is 42-31), but if for some reason we don't come out victorious then I know they will have given it their all, played with honor and will get back to work on Sunday for next week. Let's hope for a great night of fierce competition with no injuries.

Got a bit of info for all the people coming tonight. We the high school has decided to accommodate you all by bringing extra bleacher to the stadium. That way when we shock the world nobody goes to the courthouse Monday. Just kidding lol. Have a safe trip to Waverly.
