92Dragon
Clinton is much improved and having a really good year. I'm hoping for 7-3 finish and trip to the playoffs for you guys. I think Clinton and OR could end up in quad 2.What other teams could end up in quad 2?
Mav4life
What other teams could end up in quad 2? The way I see it if OR beats AC week 10 then West will go to quad 2 and OR will stay in quad 1. If AC beats OR then OR will go to quad 2 and West will stay in 1. If I am thinking right the district champs get priority seeding and that includes being seeded in their natural quad, with West having Maryville in their district there will only be 2 district winners in quad 1 and that would be South Doyle and the winner of AC vs. OR putting both district winners as the top seeds in their natural quad. ORidgeKat
Right now the other teams likely will include Ooltewah, Cleveland, Rhea County, Cookeville, maybe Walker Valley, Stone Memorial. Of course it all depends how many teams qualify for quad 1. Looks like there 10 teams from here east that will qualify. So, that could bump 2 teams from here down to quad 2. And yes, I think Mav4L is exactly right on district winner seeding. Edited October 9, 2014 by ORidgeKat

Double check that....I don't think they look at district champs & seeding until after the quads have been set. The quads are strictly geographic. There have been some quads 3 district champs & other quads with only 1 before. So unless they have made a change this year seeding wont happen until after geographic quads have been set. 92Dragon
Thanks guys. That's what I was wondering. If we would be matched up with the upper east tenn teams or the Chattanooga teams.

I think that may be because of natural quad and not district champ split in all quads, for instance if West had beaten Maryville and SD and AC win their districts you would have 3 in quad 1 in AC, SD and West with a possibility of only having 1 in quad 2. This is the way I understand it, I could be wrong as it is confusing, but I would think that a district champ would get seeded in their natural quad first then it reverts to geographic location. Mav4life
here is the quad per gographical location: quad 1 currently has 11 teams that would qualify for the playoffs if the season ended today so 3 teams would have to get bumped to quad 2, the first 3 geographical teams according to the map to get moved would be Oak Ridge, Clinton and either Campbell County or Anderson County, it is pretty close for those 2 in location. If it is AC then if what endofbcs is saying is true than that would put the 3AAA winner and runner up both moving to quad 2 along with Clinton and I just cant wrap my mind around that being the case. Like I said I could be wrong, but the natural thing in my mind would be to give the District Champ first priority in their natural quad

uofl
Clinton wins a very close ball game. It's going to come down to which team doesn't turn the ball over
92Dragon
I don't care if its high scoring or low scoring, I just hope Clinton can win!
zero
Dragons need to get out of that 3/5 D at least 3/4...they dont have the speed in the LB core to run 3/
