@ Black Senator actually my question was to the board, or anyone that had information on Bartlett's team.  Thank you Bartlett grad for answering my question, hopefully this will be a good game.  Channel Five news is predicting chances of rainon Friday I hope that is after the game.  I know there have been several showers in Memphis this week, seeing that Bartlett (I think) is a county school hopefully this mean that their field will be in good condition.  Do not want any injuries and definitely not wanting to play on a sloppy field.

All schools in Shelby Co are County schools now with the Whole Merger thing...

BGIM - Week 7 presents the Sublime Seven (Succulent Six)

(All games are played on Friday, October 10 except for the Collierville vs Ridgeway game. That game is Thursday, October 9.)

Game 1: Arlington @ White Station (Fairgrounds)

Game 2: Dyersburg @ Bartlett

Game 3: St. Benedict @ Central (Crump)

Game 4: CBHS @ St. Louis CBC

Game 5: Collierville @ Ridgeway (Halle, Thursday, October 9)

Game 6: Fairley vs Manassas (Melrose)

*Game 7: Liberty @ Millington  (Rescheduled to October 24th)

Game 1: White Station

Analysis: Arlington (6-1) is good. White Station (2-5) is good, despite the record. White Station has played an extremely harder schedule and as a result, they are playing for their play-off lives. (They have to run the table against Arlington, Central, and Melrose) I just think that they have dug themselves to deep of a hole, eventhough their two wins are in district. Arlington has one victory over a team with a winning record in Collierville, and another win over a team that is currently at 0.500 in Bartlett. Everybody else has a losing record. Arlington's QB is a freshman, although at this point of the season, he's only a freshman by class designation ... he was the starting QB from day one at Arlington. White Station's QB is also young and this is his first year starting as well. He's thrown a lot of INTs. This game is at the Fairgrounds which give White Station the edge.

Game 2: Dyersburg

Analysis: You have D1 13-AA, 4A Dyersburg (5-1) going against D1 14-AAA, 6A Bartlett (3-3). Last year Dyersburg lost in the quarterfinals to Trezevant 12-7. Along the way they defeated Bartlett in the regular season 46-7. This year's Bartlett team is better then last year's team. Their three losses were to Millington, Houston, and Arlington. The point differential in those games were by 22 points or greater. This game is moe competative then last year's game, but Bartlett still losses.

Game 3: Central

Analysis: D2-AA, West team St. Benedict (4-2) has been pretty good this year. Central (5-2), a D2 16-AAA, 6A team has been good as well. Central is better coached then in year's past and coach Cruthfield has built that program to be competative and deep. St. Benedict is hosting this game but they don't won't beat Mr. Deddrick Thomas and crew. (That verball to Mississippi State is looking better and better as the college football season progresses)

Game 4: Christian Brother College High School

Analysis: CBHS is currently 4-3. CBC is currently 7-0. They have held four (4) opponents to doughnuts while averaging 54 ppg. Thier largest margin of victory has been by 60 points. I have no idea of the level of competition these 7 games have been against ... but out of 7 games, you would think one would have been against decent competition. I think CBHS will represent and not allow this one to get ugly. I hope.

Game 5: Ridgeway

Analysis: D1 15-AAA, 5A Ridgeway (5-1) travels to play fellow district oppenent, 6A Collierville (5-1) tonight. Collierville's resume' isn't as impressive as Ridgeway's. Collierville's schedule only has one opponent that is over 500 on the season in Arlington, to whom they lost 24-17. Ridgeway has faced three with winning records and have victories over two of them. One being an impressive win at last year's 5A champion's home in Henry County. Ridgeway has too much for Collierville to contain.

Game 6: Manassas

Analysis: This is a D1 16-AA, match-up against two of the top 3A teams in that district. There are nine (9) teams in that district with four of them being 4A and the remaining 5 being 3A. It's dog eat dog in that district. The game is at Melrose which means the site is basically neutral with Manassas (4-2) being in North memphis and Fairley (3-3) being in Whitehaven, Fairley's three losses were at the hands of Whitehaven, Trezevant, and Craigmont. Manassas two losses were at the hands of Munford and Central. The winner is in the drivers seat in 3A in the city and will more then likely have a really good seed going into the play-offs. I think Fairley just doesn't have what it takes to beat Manassas.

    • Lol when was last time they won region or got past the 3 rd round.
    • Gravedigger gotta finish filling the hole before hitting 40 East. May need a new Yellow Shirt play signaler on the Stones. And apparently a new strength coach now. Cicadas must've got shaken out of the bushes in Donelson. Hopefully the mower man sticks around to keep DG field looking pristine. Maybe new OC can call in a favor to his PGA friends that knows a thing or two about being green during the season. The heat is on soon. Bring in the 2 way freak Iceman and cool things off. He knows a thing or 2 about wildcats. Gotta take our talents South soon for Nationals. Don't step on my blue suede shoes.
    • I think this goes on a lot more than most people know, maybe not finishing an entire geometry class in 90 minutes. This situation seems special.
    • Clint and Blake sitting at home right now after Sunday service having a family discussion.   Pork Chops and Greens on the menu, and maybe some cookies and milk for a snack later.   Clint probably told him he sucked and ruined the legacy, and would be right.   The next HC sits in MJ, but wears blue, JMO.
