UCM > Dr. Phil. The culture of the SC program hasn't changed. I'd like to know what the SC program could do to "toughen up"? Play smarter, play more sound? The last 5 quarters of Owl Ball has not been pretty, for sure, and crying won't help so let's move forward. Bottom line is this, SC needs to play better. Players got to Play!!!

lots of things you can do to toughen up. Same way Riverdale got tough after Rankin arrived. No more missed practices for sore muscels, Leg bruises and bad colds. All which were excuses before Rankin arrived. 3 years in I often seen kids playing with broke noises, fingers, hands.....if you could walk the halls you could dress out and go. It might just be this generation #### a whole and the puzzification of America.

SC fans for the most part suck anyway. Come to the games and sit there like they constipated most of the time. You hit the nail right on the stinkin head here. Aint gonna get any better anytime soon either. Huge lack of work ethic and dedication from this group.

This is a great post. I really like how this guy tells the truth about the terrible SC fans. They are fair weather at best, right termite? Look at Antwan. He ain't been heard from in quite sometime.

I'm 5' 6 and weighed 145 lbs at OG and LB plus all special teams and played with a broken hand because I worked to hard in the summer to allow an injury to stop me from playing. It's mentality. Plus tobacco cutting made football camp seem like a breeze.

100% agree....the Owl teams of old were not always the most talented, but they would hit you in the mouth on every play. Not so sure they do now. Nothing to do with the fans, that's on the team.

Yea. They "claim" to be building a house and don't have access to a computer for 4 years after a loss Like mailmen from Whinemoreland.  .

The Goat sez: Cutting tobacco isn't difficult when you don't have to bend over.

    • Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
    • Interesting read in the fish wrap about why the baseball coach quit. No help with administrative duties. IMO Not a good look for the administration, especially the AD. What in tarnation is going on up there?
