Who would UC stack up against in other classes?  They seem to be rolling over everyone in 1A.  How good are they?

The only comparrison I can give you is the Jamboree we played in before the season. We played 4A Dyersburg for one half and came out on top 21-7. I don't know what that means because I don't know how good D-brg was at that time. We held the ball 9:15 on our first drive and scored. We played great defense and recorded tackles for a loss and a sack. We played a very good Huntingdon team which I believe is 2A and beat them 35-7. We will play Peabody next week on the 24th for the district title. Peabody is ranked 3rd in 2A. I expect a battle. I think we could beat anyone in 2A and most teams in 3A. We have to stay healthy and focused. You have my opinion.

The could beat any team in THIS year's 2a field.  In 3a, it wouldn't surprise me if they could go toe to toe with Alcoa.

I don't think anything was given. We actually scored those points. You are right about the turnovers though. We took advatage of all of them. In the end it was 35-7.

I would have like to have seen the 2011 or '12 Mustangs play. this UC team.

OMG that would be a great game. I still have nightmare from that playoff game. Geez. Thanks for sendin me into shock. The one thing this season has not produced for us this year is a hard fought battle that goes down to the last drive of the game. We had 2 of those last year against Humboldt. I believe we will eventually get to that point later in the season.

I don't see anybody playing UC to were the final drive comes in to play. UC might run into a team that plays them tough for a half in playoffs. What happened to Hyde that played on the '11 &'12 team did he get any offers

Unfortunately he got into some trouble. That's all I can say about that. It's very sad.

Union City need to move up to 2A. Potential Playoff matchups with soon to be 2A Alcoa would be interesting.

I imagine most of the UC fans are wanting to move to 2A. Dont know how the administration and coaches feel about it.

Actually after looking at the new enrollment numbers and list of teams, it may be best to stay in 1A for travel reasons.  Maybe pick up some of the 3A teams for non-region games.
