Really mixed emotions after watching this game.

Greenback simply did not look like a playoff team. Not trying to find fault with a lopsided victory but I still see lots of work to do if the Kees expect to be any more than one and done in the playoffs. Passing game wasn't sharp until late, on many occasions the line got pushed around by much smaller opponents.

I've missed a couple of games and haven't been to practices but I have a some real questions about the line up GB puts on the field. From my perception there are better guys on the bench than some of the starters. Early game passing efforts and play calling looked more like an attempt to pad stats rather than control the game. I was picturing GBs play last night against some of the opponents between them and a title shot and didn't like what I saw.

Tellico was outmanned but to their credit they did not fold like I expected them to when down 21- zip in the first quarter. While the outcome was never in question the bears did settle down and come up with a decent effort and give their fans a reason to stick around until the end on a surprisingly cold night.  Tellico has about 5 players notably the QB and # 7 who would be a welcome addition to any TN high school team but they didn't get a whole lot of help.

I grade GB's effort C+ I hope they can step it up a bit more in the next couple of weeks.

maj i wasnt there so i will hold comment on that game.Last wk against a real good Ram team GB outplayed them the majority of the game of course we came up short our depth issue up front will hurt us in most fourth quarter games-Oneida and GCA more depth and size both beat us in the fourth. We will hold our own and can beat any East team if we play "good",we have enough talent to do so.GB has consistantly played down to the mediocre teams and have surprisingly played up to the better teams.Starting now its time to quit being conservative and put these teams to bed early.WTD! GB must have played sloppy for him to give that assessment. What I saw at GCA, was a very good line and a very solid team. If the run ends before the semis, I would be surprised and disappointed.
