Person and the other Huntingdon freshmen will be hard to deal with for sure in the future. Good win for Huntingdon and we need a line coach in a bad way. We are young..... I'll keep saying that. lol

Told you pearson need to be playing, however congrats to the mustangs this week with a important win over a good Dresden team.  Good luck to the Lions hope you make it deep in 1A and hope you dont have the tornadoes till further down the line.

Mustangs still getting too many penalties but we are playing a lot better with a diff center and left guard.  Got a tough one on the road this week despite who we will be playing however at least we dont got another bye week.  Keep it up Stangs.

Thanks Coach Swenson for having your team ready this week & having them defend the pass, but when I say put Pearson out there I meant before late into the 4th quarter the kid is ready to play, postseason starts this week time to put him out beginning of the game.

Other than that good job guys keep it up and hold head high.

OUCH!!! That was another beatdown by the neighborhood bully, an old-scool woodshed spanking again. Will Dresden EVER beat Huntingdon? ... time will tell. Goodluck in playoffs Mustangs... we gotta go put the fanny in a tub of cold water.

I'm guessing he will see earlier playing time in playoffs. I knew the demise of the mustangs was a little premature. lol

I hope so and pearson gets put in the playoffs, if we didnt get things clicking it wouldve been a diff game btw.  I am glad we got it going though.  Lions are doing good with all things bad going for them when season started.  You luckiest Lion fan of all in that warm weather brr it still cold here

Hard to dispute Pearson probably leading rusher for last two games with almost 100 yds on only 5 carries. Will be fun next year watching the battle when dresser comes home to the den. Shout out to mvp of game baker #12 senior on senior night, left it all on the field tonight def, ofense, and punting was lights out by him. Rocky, Pruitt and other seniors stepped up tonight. That leader I was begging for was #12 tonight. Congrats to coach Swenson on a couple changes but more importantly having the kids pumped up and focused.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
