Keep telling yourself that... In '07 OR was 8-2 in the regular season. Their only losses were to Farragut and William Blount. I guess 8-2 is a mediocre record.... But Could it be that OR was a good team but WB was just better? No of course not.... I guess we weren't very good when we held maryville to 3 points in a half and took them to the wire when they were on a 49 game win streak.

Obviously y'all were better. That wasn't my point. My point is that for OR standards those weren't very good years. Maybe by WB standards, but not what I have been watching for 30+ years. That was a decent season we had in 08, but not a real good team. Best team WB ever had was in 2007 and you guys beat us by a TD and an a FG.

Oh I forgot... It was because ya'll had that crappy coach that took ya'll to state coaching when ya'll lost to WB. That's the only reason ya'll lost... My bad for forgetting that. How stupid of me.

So, you think Stevens was a good coach? Ask AllRegion how good of a coach Stevens is/was. You seem to be the only one here who gives him credit and you're a WB fan. He was not a good coach. Trust someone who is near the program.

According to 91 he was a good coach. No coach takes a team to the state that isn't any good in his opinion. What he doesn't know is that a staff of me, AllRegion, STARSNBARS, and maybe Barney could've won state with that OR team that year.

They should win more than they do. They have good talent. Their RB is one of if not the best prospects in this whole state. He is lights out.

You commenting about Stevens being a good coach is like me commenting on one of WB's coaches, which I know nothing about. Their is more to being a good coach than being an x's and o's guy. Their is a thing called discipline that he really lacked and when you don't have that you have nothing.

I was at the OR/Rhea county game and I feel that I got a pretty good picture of what's going there. I heard fans cussing and criticizing the coaches for everyone to hear. I also heard from a guy that went to OR that Stanton Stevens got death threats from OR fans when he was there. Alot of these storied programs have Harvey Updyke type fans with unrealistic expectations. If you doubt what i'm saying just look at any Riverdale thread.
