Gallatin vs Springfield

Best game Springfield has played since beating White House, which is the game when #16 was injured. Him coming back tonight gave our offense what it had been missing as the year wore on. Hats off to the Green Wave, they had a heck of a year and their fans represented well tonight. Springfield proved a lot tonight to a lot of people. On to Hillsboro, but gonna enjoy this win tonight for a day or two.

Been decades since they could beat Gallatin. Then out of nowhere they win two in a row both in the same year. Simply put, they are the better team this year.

I still can't believe that we took the Green Wave out tonight like we did.  Evan Lenk was the difference.   His being able to play gives our offense so many more options. We had three backs with over 100 yards.   Alan Gardner (180+) Bigbee (130+) and Barbee (102).  Defense played bend but didn't break.  Congrats Gallatin good game, classy fans, great atmosphere.

Simply put Springfield had a better team this year than Gallatin. The Achilles heel for Gallatin all year was a strong running game especially up the middle. Springfield exploited this all night. Gallatin's line got whipped up front and Garner, Bigbee and Barbee ran at will. The Barbee td run was amazing. I sure thought he was stopped for little or no gain then out he pops and races for the 50+ td. Garner was the workhorse and when Bigbee spelled him his extra speed through Gallatin off. Gallatin played about as good down the stretch as the could and finished with a good record. Tonight they needed some help and the passes were short and the holes did not open up. Good luck to Springfield.

Go Green Wave!!! Today is the day that this team has wanted since that last tick went off the clock on that first game. Lots of changed on both sides!! One thing that remains the same is the packed house coming to Springfield tonight!!

Pull hard GWAVE1, we will need all the help we can get. Just like tonight's game, though, Hillsboro better not overlook Springfield. Looking forward to coming to the Wave Yard next year. FYI, #42 Gardner is only a sophomore. He is a super kid too.

thanks Pilgrim.  Got our QB back and he made a world of difference.  OL blocked EXTREMELY well tonight too.  They open some big holes for Gardner, Bigbee and Barbee to run through.  It was an exciting game.  Gallatin brought a BIG crowd and electricity was in the air.
