Bucksfan
Yeah, I don't know why he left just to go back a few years later. I wish him the best of luck at brentwood! Rumor is lots of reason$.

workinprogress
Best of luck to Crawford. He should get more wins but he isn't coaching against the gauntlet that Woodward had to deal with. And he will benefit from the hard work already put in. Dad1 I'm not a grandparent so fill me in. PassiveAggressive
Truly there is a little culture shock coming from Brentwood HS to Cleveland. The student population and per-capita income are pretty opposite. Brentwood boosters are strong and able to provide most any need with a phone call. Such is not the case in Cleveland. Had to be an unexpected frustration for Crawford. IT'S LIKE GOING FROM THE OUT HOUSE TO THE PENTHOUSE
fooseball96
Last time I looked Cleveland has more championships than brentwood. Not only in football but other sports as well. Brentwood may be a wealthy town but $$$$ doesn't win you championships, players do.
CheckerboardEndzone
Money drives the machine, though...and if your head coach has to spend as much time scrambling over fundraising and wondering where he's going to get money for equipment and other basics, it can be a drain on him and the staff. Cleveland hasn't won a football championship in a very long time. Things are different now than when there were only two schools in the county and you could easily support one, the other, or both... Money (or the concerns about it) can often be at the root of a team's struggles. Strong fan and booster support drives good programs... Cleveland has had neither for a while. Which comes first, the chicken or the egg? Personally, I believe that restoring a winning tradition will bring the fans and the dollars back. But with annual concerns over supplies, equipment, and facilities, any head coach/coaching staff will have lowered morale and will be distracted from their primary job: coaching
