Regions 5, 6 and 7 are clearly better regions IN YOUR OPINION  and I don't think 2-4 gets anyone in the playoffs in those regions.

The problem today is that rules are leaning to shootouts and no defense.  Those that make the rules want butts in seats and offense sells tickets in their minds. I call bunk on that, but I am in the minority. You talk to folks today and all they want to talk about is offensive displays. Good defense get's the "ho hum... boringggggggggggggggggggggggggg".

Let's be very clear. TSSAA put that out as a selling point to make the Super 32 more sellable to the teams that were going to have to travel all over the state for games.

DEFENSE IS VERY IMPORTANT SIR....EVEN AFTER YOUR SHOOTOUT YOU HAD TO MAKE A DEFENSIVE PLAY TO WIN THE GAME..YOUR GAME WAS NO DIFFERENT THAN THE #BIGBOYS OF FOOTBALL WALKER AND SODDY...#LOP

I'm not saying every year, but I just don't see anyone in this region doing anything this year. I think Ooltewah is decent, but not good and I don't think anyone else in the region would make the playoffs in Region 6. Not sure the Owls would.

Way it was for Cleveland's first Championship in 1968 and Bradley's in 1976. Regular season meant something more than is does now.
