you guys really needed that win last night, setting yourselves up for a home playoff game.

Oh yeah. But still got to beat Hardin Valley and William Blount. Maryville would be nice but I am not that unrealistic. But as one of our announcers said, that win streak for them has to end sometime, and why not us?

Told you that would be the best game of the night in Jr Varsity ball. The best game of the night was in the Real BigBoyFootball Region up in Kingsport.

The only team to give Maryville a game so far is Alcoa. What a 3a school playing 4a. Means nothing. There are duds in super 32 just like everywhere else. And I don't think it was the best game of the night . You have almost 100 points scored in a game in there's no defense. I think Bradley can give anyone a game offensively cause Copeland is the real deal. Last night even against a terrible defense should of opened people's eyes. Both on the Bear coaching squad as to what they need to do and their opponents on how in the world do we stop him. I know they have supporting players but he makes it all come together. I'll enjoy watching him in college in a few years. Good luck to all the rest of the way.

It looks like Cleveland, Walker Valley & McMinn will all finish 2-4 in the District & tied for 4th place.

Who knows the tiebreaker & which team could sneak in???

If it's points between the three games, looks like it would be Walker Valley.

I would not have guessed that 2-4 would get into the playoffs, but it looks like it will.

Regions 5, 6 and 7 are clearly better regions and I don't think 2-4 gets anyone in the playoffs in those regions.

we're not worried about regions 5, 6, &7. Only need to worry about region 3, which I think we'll spilt the 1st round games with(ooltewah & Rhea from region 4 and oak ridge and Farragut from region 3). After that I don't know what happens, but those are 4 really good teams. Edited by clevelandblueraiderfan

HEY WE ARE #BIGBOYFOOTBALL! A SHOOT OUT IS NOT #BIGBOYFOOTBALL TO ME . ITS #OFFENSE AND NO DEFENSE FOOTBALL. NOW THE FARAGUTTS AND WEST GAME, THAT'S #BIGBOYFOOTBALL IMO. DB'S ARE NO SHOWS IN SHOOT OUTS. I LIKE NAIL BITERS, BLOOD PRESSURE ELEVATORS. THATS #BIGBOYFOOTBALL! #LOP

Hard to have a shoot out with no offense. Most decent defenses look great when there's no offense being played.

that's PassiveAggressive, find it humorous you guys take him seriously.

I'M SERIOUS ABOUT #BIGBOYFOOTBALL!! BEFORE WE STARTED THIS THREAD...CLEVELAND, EAST HAM, OOLTEWAH, BRADLEY, AND MCMINN WHERE HE TOP TEAMS IN 5A AND BRADLEY AND MCMINN WOULD MOVE TO 6A IN THE PLAYOFFS.HAVING THAT MANY TEAMS IN ONE DISTRICT BATTLING IT OUT FOR THE TOP SPOT PROVED HOW GOOD THIS DISTRICT WAS. NOT 1 TEAM THAT BEATS ERRBODY AND THE REST ARE CUPCAKES..BUT GO ON TO THE PLAYOFFS ONLY TO FACE THE SAME TEAM AGAIN..BRADLEY WOULD FACE MCMINN AFTER JUST PLAYING FOR THE DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP..EAST HAM, OOLTEWAH, AND CLEVELAND HAVE TO KNOCK EACH OTHER OFF TO ADVANCE... AND JUST BECAUSE YOU WON IN THE REGULAR SEASON DOESN'T GUARANTEE A WIN IN THE PLAYOFFS LIKE IT DOES IN YOUR REGION NOW.. AT ONE TIME WE WERE BALLIN OVER HERE IN 5A AND STILL CAN'T UNDERESTIMATE THE OPPONENT NO MATTER WHAT THE RECORD. #LOP

    • COLLAPSED LUNG?!?! I guess he just didn’t tell the coaching staff?
    • It was not ACHS at all, they have zero reason to worry about Clinton.  It had to do with a kid (non football player)  that had a charge and appeared in front of the juvenile judge.  The judge saw that the kid was way behind credit wise for his grade and told him to reappear in a month with a plan to graduate.  When the kid reappeared he had more that twice the credits than one month before.  The judge called BS and contacted the school.  That is what started the investigation.  This involves multiple students, but to this point no athletes are involved.
    • I believe the Covington Chargers travel to Trenton Peabody for a scrimmage today? Anyone going to this? Curious how the Chargers will do.
    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.  Wore #15 and was like a mini Tebow, with the exception of being right handed. He could take a pounding and keep on ticking. Played with a collapsed lung against Powell that year. Tough as nails.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
