Carter vs La was an instant classic, what a game, the Hornets pull it out in O.T. 89-82. Jordan Bowden lead everyone with 37pts and 19 boards. Great way to start a tourney, Great atmosphere in the old gym and these 2 teams went at it, game didn't end until 11:15. Other winners Lebanon, Sevier County, and White County

Carter averages 103 pts per game!!  Wow, Lebanon plays them today.  Mayor tell me a little about this team.  How do they put up those kind of numbers night in, night out?  Would love to see them play!

Carter runs "system" which was made famous by Paul Westhead in the late 80's early 90's at Loyola Marymount. They press the whole game and like to take shots in 4 sec. It's really fun to watch.

LA held them to 33 points in the second half of regulation play. Other teams may want to study that assuming they have the athletes to do it.
