Catholic is playing at Stewart Creek tonight, and Catholic's freshman team is playing in the freshman tournament at Stewart Creek this weekend along with Overton, Blackman, Fr. Ryan, Lebanon, Cane Ridge, and Ravenwood.

Should be some good competition for the future Irish!!!!

Irish defeat Stewart's Creek 57-50. Catholic finally gets some home games (7 of the first 8 were road games). Talk about a future, Blackman has some serious athletes on their freshman team. Edited December 20, 2014 by QSouth89

Knox Catholic's freshmen advance to the semi-finals of the Chic-fil-A Classic at Stewart's Creek. The Irish will take on Fr. Ryan and the other semi-final game is Cane Ridge and Blackman. On the consolation side Stewart's Creek will play Overton and Lebanon will play Ravenwood.

Well, playing 3 games in 8 hours finally caught up to the Irish, Catholic's freshman lost in the championship game to Blackman 70-60. Missing 21 free throws did'n't help either.

Carter beat undefeated White County to win the championship. Good tourney with great competion, A bunch of close and OT games.

Friday night in Alcoa proved what a difference free throws can make. The Irish seem to have a lot to look forward to in the next few years with these freshmen and sophomores.

What a difference having a good coach has made for Carter. Look out for the Runnin' Hornets in February.

Playing freshman games is different from varsity but if these guys can continue to develop and improve then their contributions on the varsity level will be much welcomed.

Well Q, it's been a mild winter thus far, but evidently we're gonna pay for that. On January 2, the day we're scheduled to go to Catholic, they're calling for snow already.
