S Greene was scrappy, as advertised, and came out on fire from behind the arch. They tried the stall game late in the 2nd, holding the ball for what seemed like an eternity. Grace came out fast in the 2nd half and established a lead, mainly due to the Rebels cooling off behind the arch and the Rams turning up the heat on defense. S Greene wore down, probably the result of playing in back to back days. GCA rotated 8 players most of the game which also wore down the Rebels starting 5. The Rams had double digit blocked shots and kept the Rebels from mounting a comeback, eventually building a 20+ point lead. Rams are going back to Murfreesboro!

I was afraid we might tire after last night but was happy we didn't see a 1-3-1 tonight LOL

Going into OT, I thot we may have given all we had, but we got another wind.

Valentine dropped 19, Camillo 19, Norris 10, Jones 32...McClain did a good job on Zy after Norris and Jones had their turn.

Meigs is impressive to be loaded w/sophomores and play like that at Hampton!

Congrats to Hampton and GCA. I was heartbroken for our Rebel Men. They had an amazing season being underdogs from the beginning to most. What they lack in size, they make up for in heart. I was so hoping their hard fought season would come to a first ever trip to state, but it wasnt meant to be. They have earned respect and I am proud to be a Rebel for sure.

Not so fortunate tonight. Congrats to Grace a good team. I was worried about the energy level to start 3rd when in open floor ...grace player going right..crossover..left .legs of south Greene .defender was GONE. 4 games in 5 nights with the energy level we had to lay out each night was gone. As a dad I seen the final game of a high school career coming to a end. My mind went back to a little boy of 4 years old standing In the kitchen with a dale earnheart helmet on bouncing a ball saying look mommie I'm not looking down. To all the hours of hard work in a gym deicated to a sport that they truly love. Friendship that they have build not only to there teammates but to the other young men that they stepped on the court with that have the same love for the game, coaches that we all know that can't be spending all those hours in a gym for the money and the fans that don't have ties to any kid on the team but show up for games. I thank you for the love you have for the GAME that GOD has given us. To all Ecclesiastes 9:10 "whatsoever thy hand finders to do,do it with thy might. Then when it is over no young man should ever hang his head low but hold his head high with pride. Knowing he left it all on the court. From a proud dad of South Greene #4.
