RealisticFan45
Don't get me wrong I'm not taking nothing from them. I saw talent and potential but I didn't see what equaled to all the hype about this "great" team. Their a good AA team bit so is Westview, MLK, and McMinn. Jus call a spade a spade. They didn't live up to the hype thst was in this message board. Again? It's a message board, just my opinion. Thank you GCPioneer, we on the same page

TheRealTruth
Oh, they play good enough to win but they just don't play like I like. I see that a team that Elizabethton beat 69-26 Just won the SC State Championship. That team won the small school class in SC. SC has 4 classes. dctiger
I think Westview will be another contender next year. PG is destined for the big time.
Badnews123
State tournament play is all about matchups, gameplans and coaching. E-Town ran into the perfect storm with Westview. They matched up well, had a great plan and a very good coach. Add that to maybe slightly taking them for granted and you get a near loss. I look for them to rebound (pun intended) big time today and win easily!Missed that one
sportslover88
I think Westview will be another contender next year. PG is destined for the big time. Agree. They will also add a quick guard and a 6'3" post player that is coming up from the 8th grade. The post player is the best 8th grader in west TN. They will both help Westview right away

etownsparky
I've got to admit. Elizabethton is a great team, but I expected them to be much more dominant against other AA competition. To be honest, I was worried going into the state tournament. Etown peaked too early. They played the best two games of the year on back to back nights against tough competition in SC. Since that time they have not played a complete game. They had some good quarters and even good halves, but not an entire game. Regardless of records, the teams that make it to state are more often than not legit. You have to be on your game to win. Etown was not on their game. Some of that was due to the competition and some of it was the team was just not in a good rhythm. MLK was in a rhythm and won. Hats off to them. They were definitely the best team this week.
pioneer42
Marosites is a great player. She will be a great player in college as well. High School Basketball is in full speed in West TN. You come out a little flat and you lose. Westview and Elizabethton both will be awesome next year. Westview will have two 6' 3 girls along with what they have. They will be hard to deal with next year.
