Farragut really picked up steam at the end of the 2014 season and they got alot of their key guys back. They will a tough out for everyone, including Oak Ridge.

Besides OR, their toughest games should be West and South Doyle. They should beat everyone else on their schedule in my opinion.

Farragut could be a good game. I can't see Clinton's O-Line holding up to help Thackerson very much.

With Tyler being as mobile as he is....having a not so good line might not matter as much as I first thought. I mean, look how much better Tennessee's O Line looked when Dobbs came in compared to how they looked when Bray was in. Just some food for thought.

Agreed. I foresee Middleton and Alcorn pushing Tyler up in the pocket with tackling machines Manookian and Warmbrod (MLBs) waiting when he steps up. Tyler is slick. Maybe not big hits, but I think he'll be on the ground. Better get the ball off quickly in that game.

More I think about it..... in the spread, who will help the tackles against Middleton and Alcorn. Maybe use guards. Along with the Cats QUICK NG Henderson,I'm sending an inside LB if I am making the calls. Will Jevonne reveal anything that the Cats didn't know already?

Doesn't matter. I'm just ready for some good rivalry football. Best of luck to former Cat Demarrea Whitt, one of my favorite kids.

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
