Sycamore at Fairview looking like a potential slugfest. Big game for both teams looking to win the region crown. Don't know a great deal about the War Eagles but I know the Jackets are prepared for a serious battle. Ought to be a goodun!

Numbers 7 and 2 for Sycamore are playmakers and 32 is a load. I think they are solid up front and both 56 and 78 can be trouble to block.

I'm more concerned about the upfront battle than anything else. Our offensive line has been playing well lately but they just don't have much size. We struggle to run off tackle. I feel pretty good about the entire defense. I think this is a low scoring game.

Fairview is rolling, but rain will be an issue with the passing game tonight. Can the Yellow Jackets get the run game going? That will be key for tonight. Is Fairview healthy?

Fairview trailing Sycamore 14-13 at the half.

War Eagles are strong up front and play hard. Fairview's making a lot of mistakes and getting called for holding. Very evenly matched game.

That Sycamore D ain't no joke. Definitely the most physical team we've played since Page. Maybe the most physical we've played period. Our boys needed that game right now and we're fortunate to get the W. Our defense keeps getting better and better.
