Word has it looks like West is coming to town.  Rebels vs. the Owls very soon.  I'll be makin the trip down if this is true.  I know the Owls are a great team so this will be a big test for my boys.

How is Knox West looking so far?

West lost a lot of their speed from last year.  They bring back some great players though.  The QB is a student of the game and has good size.  There were holes to fill and so far players are stepping up.  The new coach is great!  The players have done a good job of adapting to the new coach and spread offense.  Overall it's still a work in progress but they are improving daily.  We scrimmage Alcoa on August 7th.  That will ge a good test.

I can answer one of your questions now.  The scrimmage date is Friday, July 31st.  I don't know a time yet but most of our scrimmages have been at 5 or 6pm.  The teams tossed around are Ooltewah, East Hamilton and Walker Valley.  I think I heard its a road game for West.
