Pre-season Poll: Class 1A Region 7

If you put Gleason, Greenfield, Lake Co and all the extremely small schools in a class by themselves they wouldn't be able to afford all the travel that would be required. Also why should we volunteer to move up and be the smallest school in our classification. To think we would want to is ridiculous cause you know you wouldn't want your school to do the same. But that's right I forgot we live in a world now where we punish the successful. If we had been put in 2A by the TSSAA we would have accepted it and prepared for a fight and not cried about it and made excuses.

If Peabody and Union City moved up to 2A then the people at Greenfield , Gleason and Lake County would then be saying Dresden doesn't belong in 1A.

I do like the 1.8 multiplier for 1A schools with a Walmart in town. 😆😀😜

Wayne County (the entire County) has no wal mart lol. Nearest one...Lawrenceburg 30 miles.

Ill be pulling for Dresden this year. They are a true 1A school. Union City and Trenton both should be in 2A, Just saying

It starts early this year. Now Trenton is included. Well it's good not to be alone. Here is an idea. Stop complaining and work harder. Trenton won 2A last year by being one of the smallest 2A schools in the state. Now they are one of the largest 1A schools, just like UC and the squall bags are already crying. Go ahead and gripe because one of us will be going to Cookeville anyway.

BigSwo I called it last year when TSSAA put out the new classifications. And I'll say it again they will complain and cry about UC and now it's Peabody. Next it'll be Dresden. They can't beat us so they have to find something unfair about it and complain. They won't be happy till they have a district of nothing but schools with 200 or less students playing each other. We didn't cry when we were in a district with Milan and Martin Westveiw. We sucked it up and took or lumps just like they need to.

Wipe your tears. Just be glad we're seeing gold balls come West. Way better than seeing them go East. Look at the bright side if you step your game up and finish at the top of the region you're right in the mix of things to head to cookeville

Besides tiger you should be glad to be in region 6 you can prob get a 3 seed
