That is true Smash.....although we have more than a couple of things to "chew" on.  Some things really bothered me about this particular game.  I have not seen a bunch this flat after halftime in a 14-14 ballgame since, well, ever.  I'm going to speculate that not having Bam on the field in the second half was a little deflating (he has a sever ankle injury that I have no idea how serious it is at this point), but it shouldn't be any excuse.  Maybe it was the last drive Kings made before the half, which was an absolute clinic on clock management by their OC.  Their kids absolutely came out with more energy and fire.  If I was a player, I'd take a look in the mirror and take stock of where we are and where we need to go......quick!  Things to chew on:  wrapping up, catching balls, enthusiasm, leadership, and character.....those things were on King's side of the field Friday.

This game surprises me. I was thinking Oneida would be a serious contender in the east this season.

Hang with us Bass.....we were apparently trying to sleep walk through non-district schedule and when your schedule doesn't allow it, you got to stay awake.  For what it is worth, it appears we are capable of being a serious contender AND we are also the trendy upset special when we don't pay attention to detail.  Need some buttons pushed.....that is for sure.
