Well i found it on a radio station.GB wins 12-3.GB has to find away to put points on the board! The Oline needs some desperate help,no way shape or form those big boys should be getting pushed around!!!!Last yr was the first yr most of them had played together and i new we struggled in most games but a yr stronger and older and with the new addition i really thought we would be more productive.I wasnt at the game so i dont know all the circumstances but our line is as big as most 3A schools. We need a real line coach not one from Loudons youth league i hate to say that but High school is just a little more important!

Don't even know where to begin. I suppose being ready to play Friday and having to come back Saturday may have been a factor, but I was disappointed.  Greenback got the win but there wasn't much to celebrate. I saw nothing on either side of the field even resembling a playoff team. One team played bad the other awful and they took turns doing it. GB could easily have lost this game. O- line had some decent pass blocking downs but that's it . Not even average on run plays and I'm not sure why. Good size and fairly athletic but something is missing. GB's one stud lineman has a real gas tank problem. Either needs to work himself in shape in a hurry or start playing fewer downs. A couple of dropped passes hurt Greenback but there seems to be plenty of work to do if they expect a playoff run. While I think the ( marginally ) better team won, I wouldn't blame Sequoyah one bit for feeling homered. Some really bad calls. I was on the sideline near a critical 4th down run and thought Sequoyah easily had a first down when but the ball went to GB. Game was still up in the air and that hurt any chance the visitors had. Still time but GB better use this game as a wake up call or expect to be home around week 11.

I know a guy that is a GB guy with a State ring. Played the position, has his afternoons free. Doesn't have kids playing, so there's no agenda, just coaching kids up....just an observation, carry on.

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
