Sequatchie Co vs Dekalb Co

Sequatchie will be able to stop a lot teams that like to just pound the ball. The have two LB's that I would put up against about anyone. Problem is that when you put them in space they are very limited. DeKalb did that well. Upperman game will be huge for Sequatchie. You do not want to be third or fourth in this region and have to face Notre Dame or East Ridge in the first round.

we have to find a way to keep those yellow flags off the field before we are gonna be a threat to your season....the refs have gotten to where they dont even put the flag back in their pockets when they are callin our games...tuff loss for you guys for sure; but your still having a great turn around season

Booger just sayin

You are right Booger. Our record is much better. If we had had last years schedule I fear we would be a .500 team.

Dekalb has shocked the tribe tonight..sequatchie will be in tough spot come that upperman game..hopefully they can pull it together and still win the district..dekalb looks to secure that 3rd place spot at the least if im not mistaken could still finish second in the district

DC is tied for first with Upperman  and Squatch in second. In the  region standings. We haven't lost e region game.

Can't get a reading on DC. We beat Cumberland who at the time felt like a gimme, but turns out they're now 4-2 with the other loss coming to a 6-1 team. Beat Smith the following week which was a solid win and looked like we were on a good track at that point. Then Macon happens and I have no clue what happened with that game. Then this Sequatchie game. Looking at their wins and by the margin of victory and seeing them in the top 10 poll I thought we had no chance. I have to say as a DC fan I'm impressed and I didn't have the faith last night but they got it done.

I didn't have much faith either. The upcoming U game will be huge.

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
