Next Giles County Coach?

Bob Jones always has a great team but don't let the Alabama classifications fool you Bob Jones would be 5a in Tennessee and Giles would be a 6a size Alabama school. Alot smaller schools in Alabama with 6a ranging from 600-1066 student schools And 7A from 1070-2143. Bob Jones has 1315 students with new school being opened up since the Huntsville suburbs are expanding. 10 years ago it was the largest school in the state with 2100 kids.

Valid point Swipes. I can still assure you from watching the game that Bob Jones was a very fast paced, well coached, disciplined team that will rival and likely exceed any team that GC will face this year. My point was just that those on here that live for nothing more than to bash GC football will not stop to consider the caliber of opponent that the team faced on Thursday.

Is the Giles-Warren county scrimmage still on for Friday, May 20?

giles should've rolled vs a pretty bad 6a squad that has had more coaches in the last decade than Cleveland Browns has had starting QBs, they could've went down the road to Dekalb and got a better match up vs Coach Trapps Dekalb team, folklore is coach built his entire offense off of NCAA PlayStation football game and has been quite successful with it as well

Again in regards to Walt. For 2 years the GC fans got on here complaining about Walt losing. Not once did they mention that he had to deal with the infractions from the previous regime. Not once. They never mentioned reductions in practices as a direct result from OC and what he had done. They never mention the lack of scrimmages because of OC. They never mentioned the lack of 7 on 7 as a direct result of OC. When you put a guy behind the 8 ball, you dont get to complain about the results.

Those penalties didn't have anythig to do with Walts coaching. He was in over his head. He did all he knew to do.
