I agree. Looks like Hampton and Boyd Buchanan will be the only two schools in 2A that will be undefeated going into the playoffs. That's pretty impressive!

Boyd seems to be very impressive this year! They will be one of the ones Hampton must get through to go to Cookeville.

Trezevant, TCA, and Scott's Hill. I think we will have to get through either TCA or Scotts Hill to get a chance at Trezevant.

Way some folks are talkin we might as well mail Trezevant the gold ball 😂

I'm not buying it! They only scored nine points on Mitchell. Any team can be beat and I am including Adamsville in this statement. These are high school kids and there's a reason they created the word "upset"! I'm not saying they're not a serious threat because, they are. But they are not the only threat in this state like some people think.

I'll agree 100% ANY team can be beat!

The Tssaa will lose tons of money on those games in the memphis region through the 1st 3 rounds. Nobody will be at those games.

The TSSAA will not lose any money, only the host school. Both schools and the TSSAA split the proceeds after expenses 1/3rd each. If they don't cover expenses, the home school loses.

    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
    • No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.
    • He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
