Did you say Mobley? Nobody can stop him on the field. He reminds me of 27 from last year Fulton team. And for Central, if them coaches don't step up their game, they will be out the door in a year or two. And until Central beats some body with some credentials, they gets no credit over this way.

step up their game? are you retarded? have you seen their record over the last 7 years? Rosser has turned the program around in a year. Made the playoffs last year, and has built on it this year... If you haven't noticed Central has the same exact record as Fulton... Am if I'm not correct, then please correct me, but i think this is Fulton first season in a while with a loss, correct? And Centrals first in a while with only one loss (so far), correct? So Centrals coaches have made ALOT of progress (if im right?). I'm not saying centrals gonna win by any means, but this is absolutely the stupidest comment ive seen on here in a looooong time. P.S- Central still has this series at 31-16 ;)

Mays or Kuerschen didn't play against Central and some guys played hurt.  Catholic isn't a very deep team so playing without 2 important guys makes a difference. Central did create turnovers, and ran the ball well.  Catholic's first team QB struggled and the second string QB was injured during the game.  Cunningham, since taking over the last minute of the Central game, has passed for something like 1800 yards in the last 6 games.  I'm not putting down Central, because they are playing well and Rosser is a fantastic coach.  Playing an injured team that was beat down was quite an advantage as well as coming off a trip to CPA (thats not an excuse Central was the better team that day).  Good luck to all in the playoffs.

Exactly what I told him ... with Kuerschen out ..was big blow and a new QB who now is playing very well ... KC is sure a team to recon with .. it will be another dogfight when the Falcons and Irish suit up again in round 2 or 3 ... no doubt ... Falcons and Irish very similar in fact that they cant afford injuries to certain players .. if that happens both teams become average and beatable. Just I guess it comes down to who is lucky enough to be healthy .. you take Rogers away from KC and Kentel away from Fulton ..then its anybody's ballgame .IMO

The new coach at Central has improved the team by getting rid of the trouble makers but, Central hasn't played anyone but MW which they lost to and they did beat Catholic at about 75%, it's funny how a team beats a few bad teams and they think they are a good team, hey they can beat the bad teams so that does make them better then the bad but, to think a good record against bad teams makes you good you are mistaken, Central is benefiting from a good senior upper class man team this year, once these guys are gone you will find out real quick what the team is,ie, south Doyle, last year they were good because of the players, good programs win year after year regardless of class. Central is good as long as they keep playing union county, a bad Powell team, a bad South Doyle team and so on, until they beat a MW team or a Fulton they are average at best.

This statement shows me you obviously don't know much about Central's roster. Yes, we do have a big senior class. But alot of our main contributors on this team are Juniors with some Soph and Fr mixed in. Central is gona be good for a LONG time. And about our schedule, nobody can predict in pre-season how strong teams are gona be. Heck, S-D was projected to win 7 games! Union Co is in our region, so nothing we can do there. Like I've said previously Excuses, excuses on why Central is good this year . I guess it has nothing to do with how our kids play or the amount of time them or the coaches have put into it. This whole conversation is becoming laughable.

For the last 3 years, Yes. You can't count all those years when Coatney was afraid to play Central. One thing I'll say about Robbie, He takes on all challenges. (I.E Maryville)

I mean you are right I really hate that Coatney stopped playing central... I feel we were better for most of the 2000s but I could be bias because I know central had some state championship caliber teams in the early to mid 2000s but couldn't get past Maryville... I wish we could've played those games... Edited by FHSalumn12

    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
