I'm a Lions fan and it may be the toughest thing to be in all of sports. Terrible call, but you can't let them complete that pass at the end. It timed up incredibly, MBA and BA ended just in time to see the facemask. I couldn't change it off of the title game, so it was even more heartbreaking because the last time I checked the NFL game it looked like the Lions had it won easily.

Let me explain the fandom. I grew up in FL, in a competitive family. Mom liked the Dolphins, Dad liked the Bucs, the Jags didn't exist then, so I needed a team. I loved Barry Sanders his last year at Oklahoma State, so I became a Lions fan, thanks a lot Barry! Lol

Shoot I remember when the Dolphins didn't exist. You can tell my age by my picks this year.my mind is slipping.

I'm a packers fan and also couldn't turn it off of the title game. I was fixing a drink as I watched the Hail Mary and starting yelling "HE CAUGHT IT" lol. Nice story on becoming a lions fan. Barry Sanders was the best. I can understand you being a lions fan.

You pick just fine, everyone knows that. Wish I was around back then, I'm an old soul and love the history of sports. Love catching old games, reading up on history in almanacs and record books, and watching things evolve. My wife says I'm a sick individual and shouldn't know trivia from things that took place long before I was born in sports. You guys need to check out Sports Jeopardy streamed on Crackle.com. Dan Patrick hosts it like Alex Trebek, you would love that show Pujo.

Have to check it out Laz,kept up with mainly Baseball ,Football and BB all my life. Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Chiefs and the Lakers was my teams growing up.Always hated Cowboy's,Celtics and Yankees. But to me, NOTHING beats Small Town Football.

Almost forgot, Barry Sanders was the MAN.

Well you definitely hated the correct teams, same hatred here for those pro teams.

It's funny, St. Georges was only at 40% picked yet the standings at the top of the Big Ones didn't change at all. So all of the top scorers picked St. Georges.

People look at records too much. Sounds like we both hated the right bunches. lol

    • A lot of people don’t realize how valuable JMO was. QB, safety, punter and holder on pat’s. Kid did it all. I fully believe if he was healthy Dburg would have made it to the ship last year.
    • If Dyersburg quarterback who is also starting safety hadn’t got hurt it would of another blowout
    • For perspective the county school I’m associated and graduated from only has 7,600 people in the entire county with a median age of roughly 47. That’s not very many 14-18 year olds to choose from. I think the football team had 25-28 kids or around there.  On the other hand Shelby County has 916,000+ with a median age of 36. This isn’t just about Shelby county, but all the big ones with huge economic advantages!  An urban/rural split would benefit tons of smaller schools that have to compete with counties with 120x the amount of people. Especially the ones who can pick and choose their players from a pool like that!   I also agree with Pujo about charter and magnets and they will eventually be phased into the private divisions because it is obviously an advantage plus all the funding! Add that county schools can’t go recruit outside of their county like charters and magnets!
    • They should be starting next week and go from there.  They never do Spring Practice in April
