These 2 teams just faced off on October 9th in Week 8 in Erin.

Like 89 said we was really flat but we also played without our QB Preston Rice for the 1st qtr in which we was held to 0 points.

We led 14-0 at the half and exploded in the 3rd to win easily 41-7.

Im happy for the Irish on going frm 1-8 and just 20-25 players healthy on last yrs team to a 9-2 record and a 2nd rd playoff berth. Cant wait to get home and watch us ball out!!

I see. I was just wondering if it was maybe disciplinary, academics, or injury..

I was making a funny with my comment. As 89 said it was a family/personal thing. He is healthy as an Ox. There is already a rumor going around up in HC that he got hurt tonight... idk where ppl come up with this stuff.

Hey 89 Talmad said u told him I was a lil fruity...whats up with that lol

Nothing major, but when your dads the coach punishment for small things are a little more severe. Prestons a great kid who got bashed over it a little by the Huntingdon fans but if he wasn't the coaches kid you probably wouldn't have known anything had ever happened. Coach Rice leaves no room for a parent to get mad if he has to come down on their kid.

Excited about the opportunity to come to Wayne county. Great group of kids and great coaching staff. Hopefully we can find a way to slow that kid down lol and in doing so figure out a way to muster up some points of our own. Either way, very thankful to be apart of Irish football and in the 2nd round of the playoffs. Anything can happen any given Friday night . Good luck to both teams

Wish he had been playing for one of my two teams. We sure could have used him. Probably would have been a difference maker with the big boys as well. QB play may be the weak link against that beast from the east. Oh what could have been....

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
