Elizabethton's fans came as empty seats tonight. Half full or half empty however you want to say it. Elizabethton had a chance the first time they had the ball but could not make the play then when CAK got rolling it was over. CAK was just better.

It was my impression the Cyclones are probably a better team than the score might suggest.  Take away a QB sack/fumble when Elizabethton was driving early in the game, and at least 3-4 dropped passes by Cyclone WRs

that might have led to big gains if not TDs, and this could have been a much closer ball game.  

 

And that has to be the nicest HS football stadium I've ever been to.

It happens. Sometimes we catch a break other times we can't. Tonight was a night where things just weren't meshing and it happened at the worst time. Thanks for the compliments on our stadium. It is very nice and something we can be proud of.

 

I'm also proud of our team. We showed a lot of heart this season even with a cupcake schedule. Hopefully next year Lord willing the game will be closer

Got home so late last night I just didn't have it in me to post lol. Congratulations to Betsy on a great season. That is easily the nicest HS facility I have been to! Wow! As always, the Cyclones played hard from beginning till end, and it is always a pleasure to talk to the Elizabethton fans. They are very nice and great hosts!

 

I know Betsy returns most of their starters next year, so I expect them to be in the championship hunt next season!

I have been so busy and these last two weeks have been hectic but Govolsknox CAK is a good team and well coached and good luck the rest of the way and always love reading your posts and your a class act just like CAK organization.We love our new stadium and our Cyclones and we are very proud of this team.
