Well, I've yet to hear that there was any concrete damage done in Union City.  If standing on countertops with shoes on is vandalism, then I should've been arrested a long time ago for all the times I've stood on my countertops in order to reach the top of my cabinets.  But that's neither here nor there.

I can't say that Peabody will win Friday night, but I can say that it will be completely different from the previous game. I'm excited, and I plan to get there early to get some seats! Roll Tide!

It's true. I have seen the picture myself. The UC administration has it as well. I don't know if it was just a prank or not but the photo exists.

BigSwo....you probably know more than most of us on here, but I heard from some pretty reliable sources over the weekend that the kid committed some vandalism and destroyed some of the property in the visiting locker room. It's on camera and it's no doubt of who it was. I'm hearing possible charges from the two that I talked to...is that the conversation over there??  This is a football game, when it's all said and done, but if the school tolerates that kind of behavior then it doesn't bode well with that school or that administration. With him or without him, either way--it doesn't matter to Dresden. It seems that someone in Trenton has only enabled his actions by continuing to sweep it under the rug.

Reaper I know that the administration has pictures and it has been rumored that a video exists of one tthe Peabody players standing on top of one of the lockers and appears in be trying to take a T.V. off the wall. I have seen two different pics myself and there is absolutely no doubt who the perpetrator is. I cannot confirm if anyone will be pressing charges. I have heard that the administration is not very impressed with this little stunt. If there was some actual damage done because of this , I would expect that something will be done. That's all I know.

Well I sure wouldn't sweep it under the rug.  If it happened then it needs to be dealt with. From the description of the picture taken, I didn't see how it was vandalism.  Is there footage that definitely showed a peabody player in the act beyond touching a tv standing on a countertop or causing any damage?  That's my question.  Kids are going to be kids.  They were on a high from the win is my only explanation.  I don't condone the behaviour, but I also don't condone going on a witch hunt if no damage actually occurred.  If I'm wrong on any of my statements then I will admit that... but from what I know..  I've yet to visibly see any damage that is confirmed to be done 100% by a Peabody player.  I'll change my tune once I see the actual truth.  Until them I'll stand by my team.

About the TV... Both schools are aware of this. Yes he touched a TV. Nothing was stolen. Nothing was damaged. Just a celebration prank that was caught on camera. For the love of god, can we talk about football now.

Thank you! I'm ready for some football!

I know Union City had planned to be playing Dresden this coming Friday. I know it's not them that will be doing so.

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
