that is for sure, ncs oach staff is good, but 12 is better, he could have had 250 yards rushing if coach wanted to run up score. Rice not in is class. Rice good football player, but 12 is a stud, and legit d1 player.

Lol what?? How can you even compare those 2? They play totally different positions?? You HHS people amaze me at how much hate you have towards Wayne County.. And if you don't think Rice is a legit D1 prospect then you're crazy.

i believe the intent of the discussion is; Rice is a very good player. BUT, compared to 12, he nor is anyone he has played against this year is on the same level as 12. call it what u want, phrase any way you want, 12 is by far THE PLAYER in any game he will be in this year.

they hate everyone and most everyone hates them.

I was at one of their games (  WC vs  Huntingdon playoff game a few years back)and a really  old man tried to fight me for wearing a Lions shirt..(I am from Camden. )I told him old man as much as you want me to stomp your guts out I would be run out of Camden for doing so.. maybe you can pick a fight with a local..at which point his wife tried to fight me too  :roflol: so I left at that point    Some of them are okay but the vast majority of the football fans  are not..

one of your posters said rice was best player on the field vs ncs, I just respectively disagreed and said he was a great football player but not in #12 league. If calling your player great, but honestly saying #12 is a bigger impact player, the man on the field, is hating on wc, then guilty as charged.

    • Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. I wrote about many of the issues here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/11/17/grounds-for-investigation-and-suspension/ I interviewed Winfree after she was dismissed from the team and wrote about it here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/12/01/a-new-interview-with-sable-winfree/ Winfree had been on teams in Warren County since the fourth grade and never been dismissed from a team. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.
    • What is the hold up here? I have not heard anything in weeks. Are they waiting for the right person or is something else going on?
    • Per usual, we'll be hard to beat in the regular season, I'm sure. It's the post season that I'm more worried about, specifically the coaches. Maybe they'll be able to make some adjustments that will keep the momentum in our favor. How's Grays recovery coming along?
    • Something don’t add up here a college coach is not going to turn away a good player they need just because they didn’t get along with their high school coach
    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
