If that was true, the camera didn't catch it as much. If it is true, then BOTH teams were doing it. I was totally impartial as to who won. My team was out.

Do you agree your team did it a lot?

I saw one of our players do that. It doesn't matter now, right? But let's paint a fair picture.

Want to talk about SC counting cadence? Cameras catch that?

Question for your SC folks.   I have been to hundreds of high school football games and every team I have ever seen takes a knee out of respect when a player for either team is down.   I do realize that most college teams don't do that but EVERY high school team I have seen except SC does that.

Why does SC not show the same respect that other high school teams show in this situation?

Regardless of how the SC team played, I have no respect for a team at this level that can't for those seconds / minutes when a player is down put themselves second.

They got that from Maryville. I'm thinking it has something to do with muscles tightening up.

This is complete stupidity!!

1. I witnessed SC players all night showing concern and respect for injured players

2. No one for RC was on a knee when #3 for SC wad injured on the sideline

3. The injured RC player had just tried to PURPOSELY injure someone by launching himself through the air into a SC player who went down momentarily and had to come out of the game again Noone from RC took a knée

4. Does taking a knee magically heal the injured player? Don't give me that shows respect garbage. Get away let the trainers do their job shows respect.

5. I've witnessed SC be the first team to huddle and pray for an injured player when the injured player is on the OTHER team.

Take a knee crap is total hogwash. Liberal sissy hippy crap has no place in football.

Just to clarify I have no affiliation with either team. SC was just the closest school to me where a game was being played on friday.

+200 Knoxvul is correct, Maryville doesn't take a knee. The reasons are for players cramping up. There's not a more respectful coach than GQ. He always goes over to the injured player and checks on them. Our team Dr usually the first one out to the player. Just someone else trying to find fault. Go Bears!! #purplepower

    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
    • This whole situation is bonkers. You don’t just kick your star player off the team just because you heard them say the F word; the coach definitely had something against the player, or somebody definitely did. Also, nobody has brought up the idea that the school blackmailed the college to get the college to withdraw the scholarship offer, not to mention that the coach who kicked her off is no longer even with the program; they were fired. I think this is a pretty easy lawsuit. I don’t know if she should deserve that much money, but I think she should get enough money for a full-ride scholarship if she cannot get one after this situation.
