Webb 😂😂😂 good try though and they played BA in the 80's try having a relevant game that you can actually compare haha.. Webb is like a peewee team compared to the upper D2 group and if Maryville is so great and unbeatable, then play a high ranking out of state team or D2 2A team instead of beating up on weak regional opponents all regular season

look we all know how good the D2 teams are and respect that. Trust me , I watched ENSWORTH dismantle MARYVILLE a couple years ago in a scrimmage. They were loaded with D1 talent. Thats why there is a D2 , their ranks are hand picked and they operate kind of like a college. I get that and I understand the difference. Thats why they are D2. ðŸ‘

As the name may suggest, I am a newbie to the area and to coachT. Looking for a place for my son to play some high level football. Looks like Maryville may be the place. Why is there so much fuss about them playing a team from out of state or a higher division. If they would happen to lose that game, would that prevent them from winning state championship in their class? If not, then they can lose that game and still win state championship which would still mean that they would still be the best team in the state. That is the way that i see it. Correct me if I'm wrong

Most of those wanting Maryville to play the D2 teams or play out of state just really want to see Maryville get beat.  The haters are tired and seeing the Rebels win.  IMHO

You ran off last night Solomon from Lexington. It's okay I'm not here to stir up Alcoa fans today. I did that enough last night and stopped when BC started crying and name calling.

 

I've moved over to the Maryville thread to talk football. How can you not appreciate what Maryville has done over these last 16 years?

 

227-11 Overall Record with 11 State Titles in 14 Title Games. It's probably about to be 228-11 and 12 Titles now that they've reached for a 15th time.

I'm not trying to start an argument by any means. But I don't think your numbers are correct. As the head Coach GQ is 237-14

      One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.

      It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.

      Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.

      Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
