SG was missing two starting guards. Brown and Shaw. It's a team sport and they do well playing as a team, but those two are key leaders.

That was a great statement game. Say what you will about not having players, when these two teams played earlier, Hampton was short-handed, and several had just finished football a week earlier. Now the entire team is together, and starting to click. This was a lot of fun to watch tonight, at least from the Hampton side of the gym!

Hampton missed a TON of close-range shots and free throws in the first game, couldn't throw the ball in the ocean at one pace, and only lost by ten. The whole team played ball tonight, I don't think it would have made that much of a difference.

They Are typically the two leading scorers. Also, SG was unable to break the press tonight. These two are the ones who break that. They are also great 3 point shooters and have several steals a piece per game. Yes, they make a difference in the game tonight. I'm not trying to take anything away from Hampton, just telling it like it is. Hampton may have very well won tonight but it would not have been by that margin. Edited January 13, 2016 by Rebel82

SG 2 players would of made a difference. Don't think they would of overcame hamptons shooting though.

Thanks fellers....If we were short a guard or 2 it would hurt us....Just wasn't sure if their guards were Norris, McClain or Jones caliber guards
