That's because he tried to use his same address. Name another kid that has sat out in Memphis? He will be in another uniform other than Memphis East next year. But not to worry because East is bring in another star guard that might be a better fit than Moss

From what I'm hearing there is gonna be a lot of good players moving around.

I've heard Moss will not be at East next season and Ridgeway was mentioned.

Im thinking ridgeway also. Cordova and Ridgeway was mentioned but if he complained about not getting enough touches at East he would complain at Cordova playing with Brown and Harris. Ridgeway may be the best thing for him, Coach Henning is high on him and he's pretty close to Jalen Crutcher

Not a big enough reason to transfer schools, but I definitely believe the awards reason over getting shots. It was an absolute joke that Lomax won State tourney MVP. Seems like he is the chosen star at East who will win every award no matter how the players actually perform. Lomax is a great player, but having only watched 3 games in Murfreesboro he was their 3rd most valuable player that week. Moss leaving would make things more interesting in class AAA the next two years

The awards are the reason he was upset, along with his point avg dropping from 20 to below 15. Would be surprised if he ends up at Cordova bc I think he would've teamed up with Brown and Harris at Team Thad if that were the choice seeing that all of them play 16u. Cordova will be a top 3 shelby county team (especially if East breaks up), but Dupree will be missed bc he really controlled the paint. If Brown takes the next step he will be scary bc he has the physical traits to do whatever he pleases and im sure many would love to see his role expand.

He still got his normal shots, he just wasn't making nothing the 1st couple of games. Moss is playing on the EYBL circuit with WACG 17u so why would he go play 16u with Team Thad. The summer it's all about getting seen.

yeah im aware he's playing for them and he was playing for mem magic a few weeks ago. i implied him playing 16u bc he's in the same grade as harris and brown(but i know harris and moss should be in 11th right now). And definitely the summer is about getting seen but what makes you think 16u doesnt get looks. Harris picked up a few offers last week, Iowa st being the biggest. And moss wouldn't be playing for WACG if Garland didn't leave for 17u St. Louis Eagles. Moss likes to be the man which is understood

    • Sorry Barn. I wasn’t specific enough. It seems I’m always protecting the principal at 825. My interactions with her have been extremely positive, but very limited. With all the other stories being told, I’m confident there are other sides I am not aware of. Regardless, there are lots of decent people earning good checks up there. Maybe too good, which explains why no one is willing to speak up. My beef is with the poor communication among the athletic programs and with the administration. Seven years ago the poor communication led to my son missing graduation due to a sporting event that was planned months before. I chalked it up to the system being totally shocked that the baseball team made it out of their district, and our then AD was a football coach. Maybe they were surprised and did not plan appropriately. That was more palatable than they just didn’t give a crap. Déjà vu, seven years later, same thing. Different administration, but same result.  Maybe in seven more years, it will actually be “about the kids”. They should do better.
    • That's a fair line. But if it's not over, that's a big problem.
    • RR, you think that changes this year, or at least improves? I know they had a couple of talented young receivers last year that made some plays later in the year. Defensive back was a struggle against any team that was above average at throwing the ball.
    • You would think they got a bunch of interest
    • You would think with football just three months away more would be talking. There's only so much a person can say about someone allowing the field to get painted without asking their boss who would have said ((((((((  ALE NO ))))))))) or all the other BULLS#!T they've done as they lead Maryville High into the new age of WOKE in a conversative town. I'm ready for some football news without hearing something coming out of 825 that Power Munger has done to cap off the week.
