I would like to nominate TCA junior guard Brynne Lytle for Class A Miss Basketball.  As a junior, she is averaging 21.1 PPG while also pulling down 3.7 RPG, 3.2 steals and 2.8 assists per game.  She became the all time leading scorer for TCA's girls team as a sophomore.  She has been an All District performer in each of her high school seasons as well as an All Region performer during her sophomore year. Brynne has also been an All West Tennessee performer in each of her high school seasons.

Brynne Lytle is also a multi sport star.  She is a 4 time all state performer as a cross country athlete, as well as a 3 time Region Champion and has twice been named West Tennessee Runner of the Year.

Lytle was also an all state performer in girls soccer last season and is a three time member of the All West Tennessee soccer team.

Lytle also excelled at girls track where she was the region champion in both the 1600 meter and the 3200 meter events and has qualified at state for both events.  She was also the West Tennessee runner of the year in 2014.

Brynne Lytle is also in the National Honor Society with a GPA of 4.49.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
