Think Vowell will be a candidate at Milan if Morris retires. He probably won't retire until after next year, because I hear next years team is supposed to be pretty good.

He would be a good one no doubt. But to be honest, if anyone other than Kevin Ward is the next coach at Milan I would be shocked.

I agree big baby....I think Ward is a lock to replace Coach Morris at Milan....as for Coach Vowell...he'll be fine...his wife is a principal in the J-MC school system so he won't miss that $10k coaching supplement...

North Side started turning into JCM in 1992 with consolidation....

Based on what I've read, Coach McCauley should seriously consider Gibson County job. He can win 7 games next year. He'll need to grow a man bun.

Coach McCauley appears to have taken the high road based on what I've heard out of Jackson North Side. He will be looked over for the North Side job because of it. He is one of a few guys that can win at Gibson County. I would hate for that offense he runs to be in our district but it'd be fun to watch.

McKenzie. I'm a Jackson native so I try to keep up with things the best I can there. I don't think you can win a title in Gibson County but the job is nowhere near as bad as it used to be. I would like to see them make a splash. They need to recruit a coach. I don't think they'll have many good applicants. Probably like the McNairy job, but I think you can win more in Gibson County.

Probably, but there is a downside in going home. His buddies and people he knows will be expecting favors for their kids on the team.

There is a coach in mid tenn with north side ties. He is from there his family still lives there but I don't think he would try to be a head coach again after the fiasco he went through last year. I'd hire him in a minute if he applied. But doubt you could pry him away from middle tenn now after what he went through.
